A 40A or 50A DC-DC charger is a safe and effective choice for most RVs. Oversizing (like a 100A charger) can overload the alternator and cause voltage crash. Undersizing (like 20A) will take forever to charge your lithium pack. Choose a smart-alternator-rated charger with proper current rating, and your lithium battery will finally receive the charge it deserves.
